Treatments

"A Foot Above" is pleased to offer a range of therapies and services tailored to the health and wellbeing of the individual. 

What to expect

Your first visit to our Clinic will be informative, relaxing and comfortable.  If attending for Chiropody of Foot Health Check, please remove nail any polish prior to your visit.

Your initial visit will usually take 30 minutes and include the following:

  • A detailed medical history which will tell us more about your health history.
  • You will be introduced to your therapist, who will conduct a thorough examination based on your health concerns.
  • After assessment, a treatment plan will be recommended between yourself and the therapist. 
  • With your consent, the planned treatment will then be carried out.
  • Your next appointment, if required, will then be scheduled.

Please note that for a Biomechanical Assessment or Custom Made Orthotic appointment, 1.5hours should be allowed for.

What to bring

You are welcome to bring a friend or family member.  Be sure to bring a list of questions and concerns, as well as a list of any medications you may be taking.  If you are attending with a sporting injury or for a biomechanical assessment, it is requested that you bring a pair of shorts and a selection of footwear that you regularly wear.
