Darren Bloore
Director of Quality Assurance.  Company Secretary

With a background of over 20 years experience within the tightly regulated Pharmaceutical & Clinical Research industries, Darren joined A Foot Above Limited in early 2011.

Quality Assurance, Compliance and Customer Service form the basis of his role; overseeing both back-office and customer focussed functions, including legislative compliance within the Business.

Stephen Gardiner PGDip BSc(Hons)
Director of Clinical Services

Stephen trained in the Royal Navy and at Liverpool College of Chiropody.  In April 2006 Stephen set up the “A Foot Above Clinic”, which in early 2007 gained National Accreditation status from the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. 

In 2009 Stephen obtained BSc(Hons) in Podiatric Medicine, in addition to Local Anaesthesia and POMS certification.  In early 2011 Stephen became Director of Clinical Services at A Foot Above Limited, where he also continues to practice as a Foot Healthcare Professional.

With in excess of 10 years experience specialising in Trauma and Sports Injury Management, Stephen has extensive experience in managing many foot and foot-related conditions. 

Stephen attends many courses each year, maintaining his continued professional development (CPD), including his specialist interest of Biomechanics. 

Laura Loines BSc(Hons) MChS
HPC Registered Podiatrist

Laura graduated in 2008 from Northampton University and has worked for several years as a Podiatrist in Melbourne, Australia for an internationally acclaimed foot solutions provider before returning to the UK to join the A Foot Above Limited team in early 2011.

With her competent and friendly approach to all aspects of Podiatry, Laura has extensive previous experience and a success full track record in customer care within both clinical and retail settings. 

Laura is a member of The Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists and holds Local Anaesthesia and POMS certification.  Biomechanics, gait analysis and orthotic treatments are of specialist interest, and along with her enthusiasm and clinical knowledge in general Chiropody/Podiatry and Nail Surgery to Laura.

As a HPC Registered Podiatrist, Laura is predominantly based at our Daventry Chiropody/Podiatry centre.

Collette O'Sullivan RFHP SAC Dip.
Foot Health Professional

Collette graduated in 2008 as a Foot Health Practitioner.  After working within her home county of Derbyshire in domiciliary practice, Collette joined the team at "A Foot Above^®" in 2009 as a Foot Health Professional, providing General Foot Care; Nail Cutting, Corn & Callus removal, Fungal Nail and Verrucae treatments.

Collette holds membership of The Institute of Chiropodists & Podiatrists and continues to maintains her clinical and professional development in Foot Healthcare.

Working in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Services, Collette is predominantly based at both Ilkeston and Beeston clinics.

Karen Prentice
Clinical Receptionist

Karen joined the "A Foot Above^®" team in 2009 as Clinical Receptionist with a wealth of previous experience and a successful track record in customer service.

Managing customer enquiries and day-to-day administrative duties, Karen may be your first point of contact with A Foot Above Limited as a Customer and Patient.

Karen is predominantly based at both Ilkeston or Beeston Chiropody/Podiatry centres, from where she manages the centralised clinical administrative support.
